KEF airport is located about 50 km from Reykjavík. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes.
Transport Options
Flybus (operated by BSÍ) runs regularly to the city center. Airport Direct offers door-to-door service. Taxis are available but expensive (around 15,000–20,000 ISK).
Tips
Book your airport transfer in advance online for the best rates. The bus terminal in Reykjavík is at BSÍ, from which you can take a city bus or taxi to your accommodation.
